Bikini Wax vs Brazilian Wax — What Each Covers

A bikini wax tidies the bikini line — the hair that would show outside a standard swimsuit, along the sides and the top line. A Brazilian wax goes further and removes all or nearly all hair from the intimate area, front to back, with the option of leaving a small strip if you prefer. If you are unsure which suits you, tell Tulsi at the start of your session — she will explain both and let you decide. There is never any upselling pressure here.

Why We Use Peel-Off Wax for Intimate Areas

We use two different wax systems for a reason. Peel-off wax is specially made for delicate areas — it grips the hair, not the skin, sets on its own, and comes off without cloth strips, which makes it noticeably smoother and less painful on sensitive skin. It costs more than cartridge wax, which is exactly why most salons avoid it — but for intimate waxing it is the only wax we will use. The faster, more economical cartridge roll-on wax is reserved for large areas like the legs and arms on our body waxing menu.

Our Hygiene Standard for Intimate Waxing

Hygiene is the single most important factor in intimate waxing, and ours is non-negotiable. Fresh linen for every guest. Disposable spatulas — a spatula never touches the wax twice, so there is no double-dipping, ever. Gloves and mask worn at all times. Maximum use of disposable items throughout the session. And the treatment room is cleaned and disinfected before and after every single session. This is the standard guests describe in our reviews when they call our hygiene “amazing.”

The session happens in a private treatment room. For first-time guests this matters: you are in the hands of one experienced professional who has done this daily since 2017, in a women-only environment, with nothing rushed and everything explained before it happens.

What Happens in Your Session

The sequence is the same every time. First, pre-wax preparation: the area is cleansed so the wax grips hair, not oil or residue. Tulsi then applies the peel-off wax in small sections, lets each section set, and removes it in one quick, practised motion — the technique that takes hair from the root with the least discomfort. After the final section, a post-wax lotion calms the skin. A bikini wax takes about 15 minutes and a Brazilian about 30. Intimate waxing is an express grooming service, so steam and shower are not part of it — those are complimentary only with our full body massages, skin refinements, and body envelopments.

Do’s and Don’ts Before and After Intimate Waxing

Before your session: let the hair grow for about two weeks so the wax has something to grip, avoid shaving in between, keep the area clean, and tell Tulsi if you are pregnant, on skin medication, or have any sensitivity. After your session: skip hot showers, steam, swimming, the gym, and tight clothing for the rest of the day, keep the area out of direct sun, and moisturise from the next day onward.
