Eyebrow Shaping – Consultation First

Brows frame the face, and the right shape depends on your features, not on a trend. Before we start, we look at your natural brow line, your face shape and how you like to wear them, then shape accordingly. If you are growing your brows out or correcting an over-plucked shape, we will tell you honestly what to leave alone rather than over-thread. The goal is brows that look like yours, only tidier.

What Happens in a Threading Session

There is nothing to prepare for. You sit back, and the therapist gently cleans the area first. Holding a length of cotton thread twisted into a double strand, she rolls it along the skin so it catches and lifts a whole row of fine hairs at once, following the line we agreed for your brows. For brows, we keep checking both sides against each other in a mirror so they stay even – this is the part where an experienced hand matters most. Afterwards we soothe the skin with a calming gel or aloe. The whole thing is quick, and you can carry on with your day straight after.

Threading vs Waxing – Which Is Better?

Both remove hair from the root, but they suit different needs. Threading is more precise, which is why it is the better choice for brows and small facial areas – it lifts individual hairs without applying heat or product to the skin, so it tends to suit sensitive and reactive skin well. Waxing is faster over larger areas and is often the better pick for the lip, chin or full face if you prefer fewer, longer-lasting sessions. Aftercare & How Often to Thread

Threading is gentle, but skin can look slightly pink for a short while afterwards – this settles quickly. For the rest of the day, avoid rubbing the area, heavy makeup, or direct sun on freshly threaded skin. Most guests come back every two to four weeks as the hair grows back; brows in particular look their best on a regular cycle rather than left until fully grown out.
