At White N Bright Spa & Salon in Vasant Vihar, Thane West, couples are looked after in a dedicated couple suite with two massage beds side by side and its own attached steam room and shower. You arrive together, relax together and leave together, without ever stepping out into a shared corridor mid-treatment.

I am Mani Nair, and my wife and I have run this spa since 2017. After more than twenty years in five-star hospitality spas – including ITC Fortune Landmark Ahmedabad, Oysterbay in Dar es Salaam and Fairmont in Dubai – and Panchakarma training at Arya Vaidya Pharmacy in Coimbatore, the one thing I refused to compromise on when we opened was the couple room. It is the part of the spa couples remember, so we built it properly.

A Real Couple Room – Not a Partition Trick

This matters more than most people realise when they book. Many spas in Thane do not actually have a couple room. What they have is two single rooms with a sliding partition between them: when a couple walks in, they pull the partition back; when single guests come, they close it and rent the rooms separately. You can hear the next room, the steam and shower are usually shared or down the hall, and it never quite feels like a private space for two.

Ours is a purpose-built couple spa suite. Two beds in one room, an en-suite steam room and shower inside the same suite, soft lighting, and an all-female team of trained therapists so both partners – especially the lady – feel completely at ease. White N Bright is a women-owned, women-operated spa, and every therapist who works on you has been trained in-house by our co-founder and lead aesthetician, Tulsi Singh.

Couple Massages, Side by Side

Inside the suite, each partner chooses their own massage – you do not have to pick the same one. One of you can have a deep, firm deep tissue massage while the other enjoys a gentle Swedish massage, a French aroma massage or a Balinese body massage. You can also add a foot reflexology session, an anti-stress head massage or a body scrub to either partner’s treatment, all in the same room.

Couple pricing is simply two individual massages, so the cost depends on what each partner chooses. All prices include 5% GST.

Prefer a longer session? Every massage is also available in a 90-minute version, with couple prices from ₹7,350 to ₹8,400. Tell us at booking and we will set the suite up for the timings you want.

The Couple Retreat – Our Signature Two-Hour Ritual

If you want the full experience rather than just a massage, the Couple Retreat is what we are best known for. It runs a little over two hours plus steam and shower, and it is the same ritual that guests have been returning for since our earliest reviews. The Couple Retreat is ₹12,600 for both of you, all-inclusive.

Here is exactly how the session unfolds:

1. Foot Ritual – we begin by cleansing and disinfecting your feet with a salt soak, a calming start that settles you both into the room.
2. Consultation – our therapist talks you through the scrub and mask options. We carry four different body scrubs – Lavender & Mint, Lemongrass & Green Tea, White + Bright, and Mango & Mandarin – and a choice of nourishing body masks, each matched to your skin type and condition.
3. 60-minute full-body massage – your choice of technique for each partner.
4. 30-minute full-body scrub – the scrub you selected, to polish and refine the skin.
5. 30-minute full-body mask – a hydrating, skin-type-matched mask applied head to toe.
6. Steam & shower – 5 to 7 minutes of steam followed by a warm shower, all inside your own suite.
7. Refresh – we finish with a cup of green tea or lemon tea before you head back out.
